Set within five acres of woodland in the Green Belt, Brackenwood Hall is a new 7100sqft single-storey family home conceived as a low, clustered composition within a forest clearing.

Planning permission was secured under NPPF Paragraph 84 on the basis of exceptional architectural quality. At the heart of the project is a pioneering construction approach using predominantly natural and recycled materials, developed with the ambition of becoming one of the most sustainable homes in the UK when measured against upfront and operational carbon.

The project is the subject of a dedicated documentary film, following its development from early design and research through construction to completion.
