PRIVATE GYMNASIUM, ESSEX

Combining expertise in the careful treatment of historic buildings and fundamental purist design principles of light, order and proportion, this project sees the installation of a high-tech gymnasium studio into a pre-war residential house. The gym facilities, which include steam-room, sauna and climbing wall, all fall within the historic building footprint displaying the ability to harmoniously couple modern architecture with period properties.
